For 95 years, Qualified Hardware has been providing locksmiths, storefront and private companies, construction firms, institutions, and individuals with high quality door and lock hardware from the best brand names—such as Rixson, Sargent, Norton, Yale, Von Duprin, HES and more.

The challenge was how to translate the brand’s reputation for great customer service and deep inventories into an online experience.

Making The Customer Feel At Home

Qualified Hardware’s walk-in experience was known to be quite memorable. The staff knew regular customers by name, help and advice was always readily given, and if a customer was looking for an obscure part, there was a very good chance that it was in stock. It’s no surprise that replicating the experience online was our top priority.

Qualified Hardware’s search feature is both visually rich and highly descriptive.

Once a user chooses to use the search feature, the instant results provide a wide array of choices, all of which are carefully grouped into relevant categories: Brands are highlighted, Product Categories are listed, and Product Matches include images as well.
